Q How Much Does it Cost?
A Design and Installation starts from approximately £1200.00 exc VAT, but varies according to the number and style of luminary. An average cost of a 10 luminary project is approximately £1600.00 + VAT
Q Is it Safe?
A Yes. All our installations are required by law to meet BS7671. We would carry out an initial visual inspection of your electrical earthing arrangements, and the circuit from which we would take our power. Providing both are in compliance with BS7671 we would then quote for the project. If not, we recommend that you ask you local electrical contractor to upgrade as necessary. We would be happy to undertake this work if requested.
Q Will the installation disrupt my garden?
A To comply with regulations, mains cables need to be buried or surface clipped to a wall or fence. Our team are experienced in minimising any disruption, and in most cases it is kept to a minimum, and is virtually undetectable in a matter of weeks. All low voltage cables are covered with mulch, soil bark etc
Q Do you need to chase out walls in the house for switches?
A Not usually. With modern technology, we are able to control lighting by use of a radio control unit, which can be supplied from a suitable outdoor socket outlet or existing power in a shed or garage. This eliminates the need to chase out walls in the house, saving on decorating costs. The lights are then controlled by a hand held, key fob size transmitter.
